When people work without rest, the brain becomes overloaded, and this reduces our ability to concentrate. During a break, you give your brain time to recover, allowing you to be effective again when you return to your work. It’s important to be in complete silence during these 15 minutes, avoiding any reading or listening to information. Simply stay alone, close your eyes, dim the lights, and perhaps play relaxing music. Even such a short rest helps to relieve muscle tension and improves the ability to concentrate quickly.
