Striving to achieve our goals, we work hard for this. We constantly think about our careers, sometimes we even forget about important things, such as health. As a result, we develop illness and chronic fatigue, but we continue to work with reduced concentration and drowsiness. Let’s consider some tips that will help you gain clarity of thinking and be healthy.
1. Warm up often.
If possible, do not use the elevator, but go up the stairs instead. Also, even sitting, you can stretch and change positions.
2. Take safe medications that improve concentration.
These include Armod and Artvigil. They contain a different formulation of Modafinil that acts in a similar way, but may be more effective in some patients. These medications indirectly block the reuptake of dopamine in the brain to promote wakefulness, clarity of thinking and improve concentration. Unlike other stimulants that affect the central nervous system, Armodafinil does not inhibit motor function, allowing you to carry on about your day with increased focus and energy to accomplish your tasks.
3. Avoid dust.
A large number of documents, folders, magazines and other paper on the table accumulate dust, which promotes the reproduction and transfer of microbes. This can not only reduce efficiency at work, but also provoke allergies and asthma.
4. Use a landline phone.
If you are in the office, try to talk on a landline, not a mobile phone – the radiation from a regular phone is many times less than from a mobile phone.
5. Don’t have a snack.
And if you can’t do that at all, eat fruit, dried nuts or dried fruits instead of bagels, seeds, cookies and sweets.
6. Drink juice instead of coffee
If you think that coffee helps you wake up, then you are wrong, it is better to try to drink grapefruit juice. If you do not like grapefruits, replace them with citrus or combine. Or find another invigorating fruit that you like.
7. Choose a comfortable chair.
This is especially important if you have a sedentary job. Improper posture contributes to serious spinal problems. If you can’t change an uncomfortable chair, try to improve it yourself: buy an orthopedic stand or pillow.
8. Provide a comfortable temperature in the room.
The workplace should be neither hot nor cold. Cold causes muscle spasms, and excessive heat is too relaxing.
9. Go outside.
Don’t be lazy and go out of the office for lunch. It is very useful, you take a walk, and maybe even breathe fresh air. If you have lunch in the office, find reasons to at least take small walks nearby. As a last resort, you can leave your office and walk around the building.
10. Eat moderately at lunch.
After a high-calorie lunch you want to sleep, reduced efficiency and increased irritability. Even if you are very hungry, do not overeat – the feeling of satiety will still appear.
11. Do not wear high heels.
If you still have to wear uncomfortable shoes, take them off at every opportunity or have spare comfortable shoes at work.
